What is  EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)?Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy

In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture or often referred to as psychological acupuncture wherein we stimulate certain meridian points by tapping on them with our fingertips. At the same time we focus on the negative aspects of the problem and watch the intensity reduce. A good way of explaining why EFT works came from Gary Craig, who is the original founder of this technique, “All negative emotions are caused by a disruption of the body’s energy system” What EFT does is to remove the blocks that prevents the energy from running smoothly and freely. Properly done, this frequently reduces the therapeutic process from months or years down to hours or minutes. And, since emotional stress can contribute to pain, disease and physical ailments, EFT regularly provides astonishing physical relief.
